In Tanzanian's parliament this week Prime Minister Mizengo Peter Pinda stated it was his government's policy to beat, beat and beat those
who are seen to be troublesome in Tanzania, Tumechoka
in Kiswahili Pinda said, we are
tired of them.
Pinda’s
remarks are extraordinary and legally unacceptable on a domestic and
international level particularly in light of the police violence and extrajudicial killings presently taking place in Tanzania.
