Mary Nagu was fully informed of the corruption in the Silverdale Farm case and gave extra judicial and ministerial instructions to the investors not to take any legal action in this case stating ,

'The Tanzanian government are sorting it out'

Mary Nagu also stated that she wanted to sort the issue our in a manner that protected the Mengi name!!!
