Investors reassured

JK says: We are politically stable; environment being improved to attract more investments
President Jakaya Kikwete has assured investors that the country continued to enjoy political stability and had put in place an environment that was conducive for investments.
Kikwete made the remarks yesterday when closing a two-day Investment Climate Facility for Africa summit in Dar es Salaam.
He stressed that there was no development without investment and for it to happen the environment must be conducive for investors.
He stressed that small investors would benefit from such an environment that would enable them build a country’s economy and create more jobs.
He said African leaders must be ready to promote investment in their countries to build up small local investors.
